Momofuku Seiobo wins Gourmet Traveller Magazine’s Australian restaurant of the year

… And the winner is.

Announced at the Gourmet Traveller National Restaurant Awards on Wednesday night Momofuku Sieobo, located in The Star casino Pyrmont, was named the Australian restaurant of the year 2016. This is the second time the restaurant has taken out this prestigious award after also winning this title in 2014.

The restaurant is a branch of David Chang’s Momofuku chain with his flagship restaurant in New York.

With all the fine dining elements that you would expect from this world class restaurant, your taste buds will be sent into overload with the unusual mix of flavours that the chefs experiment with. Seats in the Sydney restaurant are very limited so booking in advance is essential. The menu is forever changing according to the seasonal produce that is on offer.
